HISTORY

In 1906, William Fitz Donovan searched for the perfect name to describe his savory new coffee. Since a red diamond is a jewel that's unsurpassed in quality, it was this name and standard he chose to follow.

Soon, the product was in such demand, Donovan Provision Company decided to dedicate efforts entirely to fine coffees and teas and changed its name to Donovan Coffee Company. Nine decades and four generations later, Donovan Coffee Company, now known as Red Diamond, Inc., is one of the three oldest coffee and teas companies in the nation continuously operated by members of the same family.

A cup of Red Diamond can be enjoyed in fine restaurants, hotels, offices, hospitals, and homes across the Southeast and in many parts of the nation. Today, the company serves its customers with over 6,000 beverage and food service products. One of the nation's fastest growing Coca-Cola BreakMate and Coca-Cola fountain distributors, the company also stands as a national leader in the production and distribution of private label brands.
